Last weekend, Enya visited LA to attend the Grammy Awards ceremony and gave a fair share of interviews, which I compiled into this list to keep you going until her next appearance. As you probably know already, her album Dark Sky Island lost to White Sun in the Best New Age Album category.

LA Times Interview
Enya’s getting a bit confused by now, but who cares! A Day with Dark Sky Island sounds like a wonderful album. Poor Nicky seems to be getting kinda bored all alone in the background.
Feel free to post any links to videos I missed and I’ll add them here. Have a nice weekend!

Wonderful!!! I had a listen to White Sun II. And….hmmmm…it’s OK. Certainly not competition for Enya at all, but I guess it was time to give someone else a turn to win…otherwise Enya will win all the time (yep, DSI will always be one brilliant album).

It’s quite a shame she didn’t win this Grammy. White Sun sounds like it will appeal to a very very small audience only. I am sad that their Spa music took this award. It couldnt be votes that counted. Must be some person behind the scenes who managed to put that band up there. King Vangelis(!!) is even better. And he is like…indescribable. Congratulations White Sun, you have a place under the sun too (but Enya – your album was better, way better. You know it, we know it, everyone knows it).

I’m shocked she lost…especially being one of the best selling female artists ever. DSI will always hold a very special place in our hearts…with or without a Grammy. Perhaps they also feel she’s too old for one, trust me, it happens. She’s not 30 anymore and that’s typically the age range the Grammys cater to.

Grammy awards are for artists who have an active professional career. Enya already belongs to the hall of fame regardless if she composes music or not; she’s not there to compete any more on anything.
Therefore I think it’s good that the prize went to other artists. Enya is there to raise some prestige for the award ceremony and she does that perfectly.
Although my lifestyle has a huge contrast to the ‘red carpet’ one, Enya’s sweet and sincere spirit and voice makes even a Red Carpet event appear appealing to me. Her 20 seconds of posing seems to me like feeding the young professional reporters her flesh; she’s so kind.
I’m glad that new artists like White Sun find such opportunities which strengthen their morale towards perfecting their artistic effort.
About Bryan Ferry’s Avalon…. whoa!!! looking back, I see such a big chunk of my soul lost in time due to my hectic live’s intensity and my obsessive teasing of my touchscreen. I’d toast to that, Avalon! Such technology, such sound.

As a newer Enya fan (I discovered her one year before “Dark Sky Island” was released), I am so glad I didn’t have to wait 7 years like her more established fans! This album really has me excited about this newer sound/theme Enya has. In my heart, I think this should be the Grammy winner but oh well…..You cannot win them all. I was just glad to see her at the show. I just hope album number 9 is here in less than 7 years. I predict Enya, Nicky, and Roma will be in the studio this Spring and barring any set back, we’ll have an album in 2020. Thank you for the music Enya.
Question: Does anyone know or have photos of Enya’s home in Southern France? I’d love to see what it looks like. She probably wants it private though. I understand…

Wow guys – lets guys – let’s give Enya some privacy!!

I removed posts with pointers to Enya’s house. Thank you for your comprehension.

As stated previously, Enya’s house in France is directly to the left of Bono’s. But don’t worry, like Manderley, it’s pretty well fortified.

:( I always loathe this post-album silence. Lol! Wish there was even a littttttle bit of news👍🏻🤣

Shhhhh! quiet! :)
Well, I guess Enya is finally living a decent lifestyle, the way she wants it to be, charging her inspiration. What have we, her fans, as to positively influence her inspiration?
My self also I am experiencing some unusual turning point in my life, still taking care of some elderly family member whose lifespan has turned out much longer than medicine expected it to be. And I’m glad about that.
To live and learn, to live and aspire.
Could it be so that people who’s gotten most out of what this earthly life has to offer enjoy their dear moments in discretion? That could be it as well.
Nevertheless, you can’t spoil a memory that is absent, you cant stain a feeling you’ve been longing for; can you?
