‘So I could find my way’ will be released on iTunes tomorrow (Friday 30 October) and it will be accompanied by a video. Btw, as it’s already tomorrow in New Zealand, they get to buy the song right now.
UPDATE: Spotify has the song too.

Here’s the link that you have have a short preview track: https://itunes.apple.com/nz/album/dark-sky-island/id1043622490
From that short clip this song seems sounds very “And winter came”, looking forward to hear more the mysterious Enya!

I have found the full track! download it here (THIS IS REAL, I HAVE JUST HAD A EUPHORIC ECSTASY) It is so classic Enya balld. Sounds like the lines of “A Moment Lost, Stars in Midnight Blue, etc” :) Love it

Sorry the link I have found it [link removed]
Hey Dani, I’m very sorry but I can’t keep the link on the site. The domain is registered in my name and I don’t want to keep links to unofficial music downloads here. Lucia

Thanks Dani for the link. The song is really magnificent!!!!!

Great melody–somewhat refreshingly different from many of her other slower songs. The instrumentation is pretty standard, but I really loved the vocal and lyrics. Definitely a strong Enya track.

Yeah it is isn’t it! I love the lyrics! It’s everything we expect from Enya :)

I feel a bit bad for listening to such a beautifull song in such a bad riped quality. But i swear…it’s an amazing song. It does have a similar sound to SAM and IICBWYA but…..it’s amazing. I swear…

Yeah it’s not great quality, but I just try to ignore the silly crackles lol It’s very much like A Moment Lost, Stars & Midnight Blue, If I Could Be Where You Are etc. I mean for me personally, you can seperate enya’s ballads into 2 categories, the irish old hymn sound, and the more modern piano driven ones.

Thanks for the update. Enya’s voice fresh and clear like spring rime. Splendid!
I’m so glad to see the iTunes price of the song differ from the mediocre “everything $0.99” price!

I wouldn’t click on the link. I clicked and found my computer protection software noticing me of viruses.
Really want to listen, but I guess I’ll just wait.

Mine didn’t say anything about viruses, you have to skip the ads to get to the download page. Then do a scan after to get rid of anything.
HERE ARE THE LYRICS:
So I Could Find My Way
VERSE 1:
A thousand dreams you gave to me,
You held me high, you held me high.
And all those years you guided me,
So I could find my way.
VERSE 2:
How long your love had sheltered me,
You held me high, you held me high.
A harbour holding back the sea,
So I could find my way.
CHORUS:
So let me give this dream to you,
Upon another shore.
So let me give this dream to you,
Each night and evermore.
VERSE 3:
Yet only time keeps us apart,
You held me high, you held me high.
You’re in the shadows of my heart,
So I could find my way.
MIDDLE BREAK:
*humming*
You held me high, you held me high…
*humming*
CHORUS REPEAT
END VERSE:
A thousand dreams you gave to me,
You held me high, you held me high.
And all those years you guided me,
So I could find my way.
So I Could Find My Way…

I have not downloaded the song, I prefer to wait until the song is available for purchasing here. But from the short snippet I heard at the NZ iTunes page, it did not remind me that much of A Moment Lost, Stars And Midnight Blue or If I Could Be Where You Are, but of Enya’s early slower songs. Those tender, gentle, angelic melodies… Once You Had Gold, Evacuee, On Your Shore! The vocals are simply breathtaking, her voice sounds so mellow, soothing. And the piano does nothing but make me melt with its finesse and beauty.
Cannot wait to hear the full song and the album!
