Enya has a stunning new album coming out on 21st November 2015, and in preparation she has been filming performances of her new songs in Dublin and London using Rosie Danvers, Wired Strings and the choir’s of Trinity college, Dublin and the Royal College in London.

I don’t mean to sound funny or offensive, but isn’t it pointless her using this orchestra in performances, when she rarely sings live. Then again this could be live, we don’t know. I suppose she uses them for the atmosphere, but then again who cares. As long as we’re getting some good tv performances. I hope this will be like a one off concert of sorts :)

This is brilliant anyhow but my head would explode with delight if this were an actual live recording with the songs rearranged from the studio versions for solo voice, choir, piano and strings. I don’t expect Enya to embark on a tour but creating some fully live versions of her songs and sharing them with the world would be soooooo exciting.

Trying to figure out what this means for the fans. Will we have a DVD special? Excited to find out. I love that we get a little bit of news about Enya everyday! Glad to see this

Hopefully it is actually fully live and not mere ‘decoration.’ I’ve noticed that with her past performances with Amarantine and And Winter Came…, she actually sang live and had some live instruments. Would be great to see her move into that arena.

If she filmed with Wired Strings I guess it should be actually a LIVE show. Otherwise I don’t see why did she bothered with them.

I hope she sings more than just EIR. I don’t care if it is live or recorded…it’s Enya. It’s so nice and cool to see her again after so much time. WIth new music, with so much new and amazing music!!! ^^

look at Wired Strings website and it is written that Rosie Danvers is an orchestra music arranger and conductor.
why would a conductor/music arranger be necessary if this is just for some ”decoration” sake? maybe there will be real LIVE performances clips coming on the way. even if there is no concert, such live video clips will already be great!! :-)
otherwise Enya could just walk in mystical forest alone like she’s did.
