In preparation for Enya’s forthcoming visit to Japan, Sukkiri broadcasted an interview with Enya followed by a performance of Echoes in Rain. The pre-recorded performance is very similar to the official one, it features Enya in a black dress with a choir and Wired Strings in the background.

Sukkiri is a very influential morning show with an estimated viewership of 6 to 8 million. It was great to see many Japanese people tweeting about Enya after the show.

Aww! I haven’t a clue what they’re saying, but the lovely, respectful bowing gestures of all the Presenters and their admiring tones of voice tell me all I need to know. (Y)
