I can’t believe that it’s happening at last, 23 seconds of the song was amazing. The album will be amazing as will the videos xxx

I still find it unbelievable! After all these years! I could not be happier. Enya’s music has been a great part of my life, so knowing that she is coming back from the shadows is fantastic news. My day is brighter and more cheerful now. Eagerly waiting for the official announcement! I am sure this album will be as fantastic as every other, and I would not mind nods to the past and some songs in a similar style to her early work (The Memory of Trees especially).

Anyway, the time has come! And all is dust, remember this…

I am absolutely THRILLED that she is coming out with a new album! I cannot wait to hear more about this new album!!

Part of me is excited, yes, but the wait have been so long, we’ll see how all this go

The world is a crazy place – with the Syrian refugee crisis, American politics in a crazed state : we, collectively, as a universe in need of healing – need new Enya music.

….and while I am at it, please allow me one more indulgence.

After this extremely long wait, I am SUPER curious about the title, and the album cover (and obviously the songs) because in all this time, as a musician, there is a lot that happens in terms of inspiration, thoughts, feelings and experiences which can influence the music. Correct me if I am wrong, but would this be the longest break in between albums? (taking account of the fact that an album takes 2 – 3 years to make) So – I think everyone would understand why I am really curious to hear what Enya has done this time around.

About the title:
Well, with the exception of three albums (the celts, watermark and amarantine), the rest all had something about nature in them. Rain, stars, moon, trees, winter. Will we perhaps see a non-nature related title (listening to the clip – I doubt it). But – let’s see.

Then, about the cover design in terms of overall colour scheme:
> The Celts – difficult to describe, but I’d say = MAROON / FADED ROSE
> Watermark = RED/GOLD
> Shepherd Moons – undoubtedly the theme here is BLUE
> The Memory of Trees, predominantly = YELLOW/YELLOW OCHRE
> A day without rain – again difficult, but somehow the album cover as a whole has a greenish/turquoise feel/filter
> Amarantine = RED/BLACK/WHITE
> And winter came = WHITE

So – what is it going to be….? (Excitement!)

One thing I am 99.9% sure about- as she’s always done, I expect a stylish, elegant posed portrait photo of her on the cover, an opening track which is an instrumental, the 2nd or 3rd track on the album will be a single and signature track for which a music video will be made…(all of this based on previous observations)….or……..

Doesn’t the curiosity just haunt you??

Just what we all need in a world seemingly gone somewhat madder in 2015. Love the sound of the new track and I am now waiting with bated breath for the album. Enya’s music has been swirling around my head for over 25 years and it still sounds as beautiful today as it did back in 1988…long may it continue to calm us all!

Yes, but sometimes it’s hard to wait so long, without accurate information from the team of Enya. One has the impression that we forsake his fans. Its website does not work, nobody tells us anything.

This seems to be the longest wait. I love Enya dearly, but this wait seems monumental
especially since “Amarantine” was 10 years ago.

I agree : we the fans have made Enya incredibly wealthy (for God’s sake she lives in a castle!) I know Enya is a recluse : but this borders on the ridiculous.

It has been a (very, VERY) long time yes, but we the fans or any other person are not in the position to force whoever we are fan of to do what we would like them to do most: making new music of course. I agree with that it is hard to understand why it took so long or why we as fans weren’t involved in the whole process. Giving us information on to why it took so long could help us understand. Even if Enya did have a break or something it would be nice to know about. But that didn’t happen, and it is her, or every other artists, right to do whatever they do (or don’t) without having to justify that.

Let’s just focus on what is the most important here… new music, a new album. Why it took so long, it doesn’t matter, cause its coming soon.

It does seem like a lifetime since “Amarantine” (Christmas albums and cover albums always bothered me a bit, so when “And Winter Came” came out it ran shy of expectations) – I am 54 years old – so I remember when albums just appeared like “magic” at the local record store – no build up, no Twitter, Facebook promotion. When I was a teenager, seeing the new Elton John album at the store was like the biggest deal. So, let’s all take a collective deep breath and relax. And just know that at some point soon we will all have new Enya music.
