All of Enya's lyrics are written by her long-time friend and collaborator Roma Ryan. Roma also writes liner notes to provide background to the songs, however, everyone is encouraged to hold their own interpretation.

Roma often makes references to classical mythology, Celtic legends and different flowers. In case you find words or expressions you don't understand, look them up in the lyrics guide.
