According to the Roma Ryan's site, The Second Loxian Games begin Friday 9th October 2009. I'm sure they will be fun so mark the date on your calendars and prepare your Loxian dictionaries :)

As for the Nightflower competition (participants had to submit names for three nightflowers, Roma chose the ones she liked the best), the winning names were: Fragile Moon, The truelove found across the night (Ancient) and Kan Hooromay Eepha. There will also be three extra prizes awarded at the end of the Games to the people who submitted names for flowers that already exist.

I'm delighted too. Although it's the last category in which I'd nominate the album. But I'm most delighted that they stopped calling Enya "new age" :)

Very best of Enya cover is now online after it appeared on the official website. The reactions of the fan community are very diverse, as for myself, I can say that it's slowly growing on me :)

A few days ago, Roma announced return of the Loxian Games. They should start very soon, yay! I'll keep you updated when there is more information available.

While waiting for a connection flight at the Stansted airport (6 hours, ouch!), I zipped 59 high resolution Enya pictures (1000x1000px to 4000x4000px) and uploaded them to Badongo. There are no new photos in the archive, all of them are already in the gallery, but I know that some of you wanted the HQ versions. Have fun!

Warner Music Japan informed that the Japanese release date for the new 'best of' album is November 18, 2009. You can already preorder a copy on CDJapan (standard edition / special edition) or Amazon.co.jp (standard edition / special edition - marked as a limited edition on the site). The special edition will contain a dvd with music videos and documentary footage in addition to the standard cd.

Roma confirmed the release of the new best of album. There will also be a special edition containing a dvd. This is definitely great news :)))

Hello everyone, It’s been quite a long time since our last communication. I hope you’ve all had a chance to relax during the summer holidays. As you will see soon on the Home Page, Warner Music will be releasing a new ‘Best of Enya’ album this November 16th. They have asked Enya , Nicky and myself to choose the tracks, which we are in the process of doing at the moment. They will also release a special edition which will contain both DVD and documentary footage. I will keep you posted as we progress with this. Hope you’ve all been keeping well. I've been quite active behind the scenes and there are some improvements in the code. You might have noticed the new cool, slick and amazing lightbox effect in the gallery or on the lyrics page. Wow! I hear you say ;) Actually, I'm writing about it just to let you know that you can open more windows at once and then move/resize them if you want to.

Concerning the gallery, the latest three pictures are now showing on the main page. I decided to implement the feature because last week I uploaded new photos and didn't feel they were really update-worthy on their own. (Enya after appearing on Live with Regis and Kelly, New York, December 2008 and two portraits from Amarantine promotion, New York, March 2006)

I also made six And Winter Came puzzles for you to play with and added links to an up-to-date Italian blog Sail Away, Ukrainian fansite Flora's Secret, German fansite And Winter Came and wonderful Czech site Lazy Days by Kamil - I'm biased, I know that. On the other hand, I'm sad to say that Aleksandra has closed down her great website The Enya Realm.

Last but not least, I wrote a guide to Enya's non-album tracks as I realised that there wasn't a page summing them up on the site. You can listen to many of these songs in the music room of Enya's official site.
