Multi-million album selling singer Enya caught many pub goers and diners by surprise who were out for a night at a West Donegal pub at the weekend when she appeared with members of her family. Pub goers on Thursday night were surprised to see the star enjoying the night out in the main lounge area and described her as “looking relaxed.”
One punter who was there for a quiet drink said it was nice to see the family having a quiet night out and that they all seemed to be having an enjoyable time. “We’d not usually seen Enya here but she seemed in fine form enjoying the family night out. It was her birthday ten days ago. Some punters were hoping for a song but it didn’t happen. There was no singing or no interference from punters, just a quiet family night out,” she said.
Apparently, Nicky has a new toy: the Lawo mc²90 mixing console. I don't pretend knowing what it is for but maybe that you are more educated in these things ;) It was installed in 2008 by a German company Lawo. (original Unity topic)
You remember the long Japanese interview from the Dreams Are More Precious promotion? Enya actually mentioned that they were refurbishing the studio but didn't give the details. I overlooked it together with the fact that she said she was a fan of The Ting Tings – That's Not My Name. Or it might be because the Google Translator got much better and the interview actually makes sense now?

Finally a first sight of a promotial activity! Eurochannel wil broadcast an exclusive interview and video clips of Enya on January 10th at 8pm. Soon, Eurochannel will also organize a contest with limited editions of The very best of Enya on their website.
The Italian guys at the Sail Away blog already got the new release and promptly took photos of the booklet. Aach, it's just stunning! I love it to pieces. Now, I'm even considering the super expensive collector's edition just to get those images in 12"x12" format. Maybe...or maybe not. Here ya go!
