I upgraded the news script, erased all the spam messages and disabled comments on old articles, so I hope that commenting should work fine again.

In other news, I changed the design and added new images to the gallery. I am not really sure about correctly dating all the newspaper photos, please let me know if you find any errors: tiny old promo shots, more tiny old promo shots, newspaper clippings, signed items, May It Be promo in Berlin, 2007 Grafton Street photos, Enya holding a prize for ADWR, photo from Madame Figaro.

Plus there is a great photo of Enya attending her niece's christening (thanks to Draiocht an Dulra) and the accompanying article.

I am proud to say that I've finally added a page about the Loxian Games for those of you who don't know them. Moreover I wrote an illustrated walkthrough for the first week to give you an idea of what the Games are about.

As the annual invoice for the domain showed up, I decided to check on my hibernating website. Lucky you! I found out that Molly kindly informed me that there are new Enya pictures on the Internet.

They are just paparazzi photos that I usually don't like very much and the accompanying article is indeed rather lame but you shouldn't be too picky as an Enya fan. Plus, Enya is wearing a beret and a red dress while shopping for a funny Christmas card - what more can we ask for?

On a different note, here are two articles from Donegal Daily published back in May: Enya set for return to limelight with album and tour and Enya throws Eurovision bash at castle to celebrate her 50th birthday.

In other news, she's working on a new studio album. Some of the recording will take place in the Abbey Road studios in London and this time, Enya will be backed up by a full orchestra. It all sounds very exciting and I can't help but be excited :)

Roma Ryan, Enya's lyricist, confirmed the news and said that they were in the studio working on the next album. (Unity thread)

Once again, someone decided it would be a good idea to sample one of Enya's songs. This time it was Rihanna who used One by One on her track Fading Away. The song itself is not bad but the sped-up One by One sounds out of place. I can't tell you whether the sample is official or not but the reviewers refer to it quite often, so it obviously isn't a secret. And at least it is not Boadicea.

To talk about more interesting things, Enya wrote a cute little article for the Irish roots magazine back in September 2010. If you haven't read it yet, head over here.

Multi-million album selling singer Enya caught many pub goers and diners by surprise who were out for a night at a West Donegal pub at the weekend when she appeared with members of her family. Pub goers on Thursday night were surprised to see the star enjoying the night out in the main lounge area and described her as “looking relaxed.”

One punter who was there for a quiet drink said it was nice to see the family having a quiet night out and that they all seemed to be having an enjoyable time. “We’d not usually seen Enya here but she seemed in fine form enjoying the family night out. It was her birthday ten days ago. Some punters were hoping for a song but it didn’t happen. There was no singing or no interference from punters, just a quiet family night out,” she said.

Apparently, Nicky has a new toy: the Lawo mc²90 mixing console. I don't pretend knowing what it is for but maybe that you are more educated in these things. It was installed in 2008 by a German company Lawo. (original Unity topic)

You remember the long Japanese interview from the Dreams Are More Precious promotion? Enya actually mentioned that they were refurbishing the studio but didn't give the details. I overlooked it together with the fact that she said she was a fan of The Ting Tings – That's Not My Name. Or it might be because the Google Translator got much better and the interview actually makes sense now?
