Enya (Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin) is an Irish singer, instrumentalist and composer well-known for her unique multi-layered sound. Having sold more than 75 million albums, she is Ireland's best-selling solo artist.
Enya's most popular songs include "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)" -the surprising number one hit from her debut album "Watermark",
"Only Time" -the first single from her multi-platinum album "A Day without Rain", and "May It Be" featured in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" movie.
She has performed in ten different languages ranging from English and her native Irish Gaelic to fictional languages Sindarin, Quenya and Loxian.

"Enya" represents a partnership between three people: Enya herself, her lyricist Roma Ryan
and her producer Nicky Ryan. Enya has often stated that without Nicky and Roma, "Enya" would not exist.

Roma writes all the lyrics to Enya's songs. She also created Loxian, the fictional language found on Amarantine.
