Wow, that is a bit disappointing! It looks like an older photo of her. Definitely not the modern Enya style we've been seeing on her album covers. Interesting though, to say the least.

I was hoping for someting new I admit. But I can live with it. She looks like a flower in bloom which does fit her image. I prefer a new picture of her but any picture of Enya is better than no picture at all.

Really, the cover of the new cd isn't what I thinked...

I think the concept is not as bad at all. She really looks like a red flower! The image mix an old picture and a new one.
The image of the "Marble Halls" single into an AWC's one of the photo session.

The worst was Amarantine. The best - Watermark and the style of videos Orinoco flow and Caribbean blue.

I think it would be for anyones benefit if Enya team sticked with that direction, artists who helped to create it.

I know that in Watrmark days people were atracted to Enya also because of her sophisticated visual style. I doubt wheather the same will happen with this parachute-dress.

Gio, you made me laugh so hard *rofl* Parachute dress? Haha. Actually, I spent the weekend at the festival of paragliding but wouldn't think of "parachute-dress" alone. The image that came to my mind was more "a giant red flower eating Enya".

WOW! It's not what I expected but it's so cool! There's just so much satisfaction in seeing the cover! AH!! I'm so excited. The dress is just kinda...weird....idk. I would have liked an original picture & i'm not too big on the red. Still excited though!!

Wish it wasn't so revealing. Saw that theme coming in on And Winter Came... and didn't like it. Very pretty though.

I think saying that i dislike this album cover would be an understatement. Huge disappointment. I think they've gotten lazy with her marketing. However Enya could put out an R&B album and I'd love her just the same, but I hate this new album cover.

ENYA is lost in the color and the density of this strange dress!

Where did the Forest Fairy picture come from? Is this official? This would have made a much better album cover.

Enya es la mujer más hermosa que conosco. Sin embargo me parecé que el nuevo 'The Very best of Enya' debe ser más hermoso como 'My, My, Time Flies!' El corte de cabello es un estilo muy antiguo... Diganme que esta no es la nueva portada del albúm! Se puede cambiar???

Sincerly i don't like it this new cover... I'm totally agree with u when u say that seems that "a giant red flower eating Enya". I've also laughed a lot when i read the comment of Gio about the parachute-dress (is true!)... However If u see well the hands are a bit blur... seems a quick work...

I'd have to agree with Lucia, the cover is not exactly what I was expecting. It seems dark, lacks creativity and borderlines on boring. The cover to "Amarantine" used to be my least favourite one, and now this new one has taken it's place.

I was hoping for n cover with a more recent photo of Enya, and artistic and creative like the And Winter Came cover... What a disappointment this cover is... By the way I love your website Lucia, I've been visiting for ages and this is my first comment.

I actually like this photo, Enya is beautiful as always, and the red colour is magnificent.

I think the picture should be more better than this one. But I kinda like it anyway.

Maybe they are trying to save a few pound/euro's and had a friend do it with photo shop at home.

+ the shrift "Times New Roman, all caps" - SO UNCOOL! Remember "Waremark"? Entire booklet stylish, handwritten, but this?!

The font used is not Times New Roman but Perpetua by Adobe (It comes with the Adobe Photoshop Suite).

We'll see how the booklet will looke lik, I'd love if they included liner notes as well.

So it is not "Times New Roman", but a shrift that comes with "Adobe Photoshop"? They have really put some very good effort in creating original design! Congratulations!

I'm sorry, but it just looks cheap... :( I am a bit dissapointed... It's just too simple, not stylish enough for Enya... Her older covers bring peace, but this one's too hard for my taste... I so hoped she would let Simon Fowler take new pictures, just like with the Only Time Collection... :)

I like this cover too. It is a combination between older and new things.
The old part is the photo in the middle. I believe that the middle is from 'Sheperd Moons', isn't it?
The new part is the red flower, which sorround with her. And this red part remember to Amarantine.
Maybe the most titles are from this album.
That's why I think that she makes one, two or three new titles for this one. And I'm very sure that the album is a good 'best of' for her.

I agree with Seppel, I love the idea behind the photo. I would have liked a new one but...this basically is new. I love it very much, Enya can do no wrong.

I can't tell how much I hate this cover. The photo is classic Enya, but the rest looks so "popish" to me, so when they are put together it looks nothing but weird to me. And I guess that's why they decided to slightly change the cover, this time they made everything so "popish" except Enya's face. All in all this cover is a total failure to me.
