Is it me or does anyone else thinks that the interviewer Norika is a bit phony? Enya seems to be trying to talk to her about important subjects, and Norika just dismisses them by going to the a different topic. Maybe it's me... and I know timing plays a role too.

I think the main problem was that Norika's English wasn't very good. So Enya spoke veeery slowly and avoided complicated sentences. Actually, I found the interview amusing :)

I think that Norika is trying so hard to speak in English but it is ok. Enya spoke very slowly and understand what Norkia is asking to her. The interview was great.

lol Now you turn out be my soul twin, Lucia :)) I find this interview not perfect at all, but it really made me grin. And Enya seems to be amused too! She must understand this Japanese woman, 'cause English is a foreign language for her as well. Some time ago Enya used to speak in such a charmingly uncertain way... Now she's really fluent :)

I have Japanese friends (we met in Dublin *lol*) and they speak in the same way as Norika. I think it's kinda cute :) But I absolutely loved the way Enya always looked at Norika to check if she understood - it reminded me of my French host-family. My French is veeery bad, so they were trying their best to make me understand :D

I find it amazing that someone who's so succesfull and famous still is always so friendly! Whatever interview you watch, and however silly or stupid the questions are, she never gets irritated or bored. A lot of artists can take example...

I have watched the video several times, and I'm still not sure. Me being a native Spanish speaker, I know that it can be hard to express certain ideas when you don't know all the words... but sometimes facial expressions do the talking and that's what Noriko's expressions say to me... not very sincere.

Anyway.... I love Enya's performance both Adeste , Fideles and Only Time. Christ Church is so beautiful and grand, I would love to see it at some point in person.

I just love the way theyre talking :P How the Norika tries to speak English and how Enya understands that and tries to speak very clearly and so friendly.. funniest interview ever :)
But I have to agree with Alexander..I think Norika changes from subject very fast without talking about the previous one (but yes that can be because of her English)

Lol 'the Norika' that was a little typing-mistake

Norika seems to be a parody of some kind. She would suit very well in "French & Saunders" as a parody sketch persona making laugh at infantile American TV show hosts - "OMG!!!! OMG!!! This is so wonderful!" (Gee...).

What a discussion! *lol* I still believe English was the main problem and everything else evolved from that.

Yeah it's definately the main problem and it makes the interview cute :P

The video shows Enya perform Amarantine with Japanese temple in the background, where is she? and when is that happen, has it upload to youtube? I haven't found that in youtube before
