Things got rather quiet on the Enya front despite the approaching release date of ‘Dark Sky Island’. However, we might get more news soon as both Enya.com and Amazon promised interviews featuring questions asked by fans.
Earlier today, BBC News published a short article on Enya to announce that a longer interview with our favourite Irish singer should come out in a few weeks. Let’s hope the full interview will bring something new because their today’s offering didn’t really deliver. But at least the headline and the quotes by Enya made me laugh ;)
I mean, how would you title an interview containing the following paragraph?
[Enya] told the BBC that, when she first became famous in 1988, replicating those songs on stage "wouldn’t really have been possible." "But now it is very, very possible. You see wonderful concerts. There are orchestras there, choirs there, so it’s a different time." But, the star added: "I don’t know if that’s something I would do."
I’d say ‘Enya could very, very possibly tour but doesn’t really want to’ and the clickbait headline generator suggests ‘Three things you should never say to Bono (or U2)’ but BBC went with ‘Enya says tour would be "very possible"’, because who cares about how she finished her sentence.
TL;DR: BBC interviewed Enya. They asked if she’d tour. She said she’s not really into it.

The “clickbait headline generator” is a great concept. Instead of having to scroll everyday through nonsense headlines one can click there and practically, read tomorrow’s news; brilliant innovation, thanks. The best internet tool after the add-blockers.
Now, if Enya decides to tour… I’d love to see her in a fabulous concert with an audience of 10 and a hundred candles or more. Or else a big 4K screen and a subscription on youtube red, if any of that makes sense. I’ve been seeing in concert videos some famous pop stars of the ’80s & ’90s pumped up in ‘steroids’ just to stand the intensity of tour’s month; and then collapse backstage. It just depends on Enya herself how much of her health and stamina she’s ready to sacrifice for her industrial image. Or she could film a french press coffee advertisement instead, right? Just another person rushing across this life to exhaustion and brain atrophy. After all it’s Enya and whatever she does she’ll do it right!
I hope soon after releasing her new album she’ll easily find her way to her castle or new house and take care of her self if she needs to. Industry and press are insatiable beasts which never seem to sate when feeding on an artist’s personality; but I’m not really worried. People who’s star shines bright always find the keys on the doors they’ll need to cross in their lives without much effort or concern.

Personally I’d rather Enya spend time to make more albums more new works than spending tons of time and energy to tour, it’s great to see her but if she start doing tour she gonna need more break, I don’t want to wait another 7 years for another album, I want her to produce beautiful work as much as possible!
