Leo and Baba Brennan presented with a Benemerenti Medal
Enya’s parents, Leo and Baba Brennan, were presented with a Benemerenti Medal by Bishop Philip Boyce after Sunday mass in Derrybeg. The medal, awarded by the pope, recognises service to the church and Leo and Baba were recognised for their years as organists in Meenaweal Church and Derrybeg church respectively.
